Case Result #1: Our client, a dedicated NCO at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, faced serious allegations of sexual assault, revolving around a claim that he assaulted the alleged victim while she was asleep. Before partnering with us, he was stuck with a smaller, less established civilian military law firm, which faltered at nearly every step of the process. Recognizing the urgency and gravity of the situation, he made the right choice by hiring our experienced team to defend him at his General Court-Martial.

Our investigators immediately identified critical text messages that had never been reviewed, which had the potential to change everything. We meticulously worked to secure these messages without alerting the military prosecutors. When we presented these messages at trial, it became evident that the alleged victim was awake and had not been truthful about her state. The military prosecutors watched their seemingly “perfect case” unravel in real-time. As a result of our efforts, this client is now a respected senior NCO who continues to serve his country honorably, free from any conviction or criminal record.

Case Result #2: Our client, a junior enlisted Marine stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, faced serious accusations of illegally possessing illicit materials involving alleged minors. The Marine Corps prosecutors initially sought to place him in pretrial confinement and attempted to label him as a pariah. However, we took decisive action by successfully filing a motion with the military judge, securing his release from pretrial confinement.

Over the next six months, the prosecutors and NCIS worked diligently to build a case against him with the intent of sending him to prison for a decade and marking him as a lifetime sex offender. The significant obstacle they faced? Our client’s unwavering innocence and their lack of expertise. Our team of investigators and experts conducted a thorough independent forensic review of the digital evidence, conclusively demonstrating that our client never accessed the files in question. Furthermore, we uncovered critical information showing that many of the alleged victims were, in fact, adults under the law.

The trial revealed even more: we successfully exposed that the lead NCIS Agent had failed to disclose exculpatory evidence that would have cleared our client of several allegations. After an intense week-long trial, the verdict was not guilty on all charges. Today, our client enjoys the benefits of an honorable discharge and lives a life free from sex offender registration and a criminal record.

Case Result #3: We represented a decorated Naval Underwater Construction Diver who was a Petty Officer. Stationed at Norfolk, Virginia, he faced serious allegations of sexual assault from two separate individuals.

In the first instance, the alleged victim claimed that our client assaulted her in an office after hours, describing a chaotic scene where she fought back fiercely by throwing office items and kicking him, leaving the space resembling a warzone. However, our thorough investigation uncovered key testimony from the cleaning crew assigned that night, confirming that the office was in perfect order when they arrived. Additionally, we called upon a retired Navy E-8 who had worked as an office administrator at the location. His testimony was crucial; he stated that everything was exactly as he had left it when he entered the office the following morning.

The second alleged victim claimed that during a TDY training mission to the Florida Keys, our client had assaulted her by grabbing her underneath her shirt. However, through meticulous cross-examination, we revealed that she only made these allegations after our client had reported her boyfriend for using a racial slur against him. Following this report, her boyfriend faced investigation, and notably, it was only after this that she lodged her complaint with NCIS.

The outcome was clear: our client was found not guilty of all charges and continues to serve honorably as a senior petty officer today.

Case Result #4: We represented a distinguished Air Force E-9 who was facing numerous allegations of sexual assault from two separate accusers at Dyess Air Force Base in Texas. The first accuser, a retired E-7 from the Air Force, claimed that during their dating relationship, our client assaulted her on multiple occasions. However, during our thorough trial preparations, our investigative team uncovered a series of text messages from the accuser that directly contradicted her claims. Notably, on the very day of the alleged assault, she expressed in a message how well our client treated her and how happy he made her. This evidence was pivotal in successfully cross-examining her and dismantling her credibility.

Additionally, we discovered that this alleged victim had a keen interest in VA Disability Benefits and was a certified victim advocate. This information allowed us to expertly challenge her extensive knowledge of military sexual trauma claims, revealing her motivations for financial gain.

The second accuser, a junior enlisted Airman, alleged that our client unexpectedly showed up at her apartment, assaulted her, and she only reported the incident after facing dismissal from the Air Force for dishonesty. Our investigators conducted comprehensive interviews with nearly every NCO she reported to, uncovering a disturbing pattern: this Airman had been counseled for lying on multiple occasions and had been separated from the Air Force due to her consistent dishonesty. In court, we unflinchingly confronted her about these fabrications, highlighting her newfound pursuit of VA Disability Benefits now that she was no longer on active duty.

Ultimately, our client was found not guilty of all charges and specifications. He is now confidently concluding his military career with full retirement benefits intact.
