She graduated with honors from the prestigious Georgetown University Law Center, where she earned her Juris Doctorate, and she has dedicated her professional life to helping those in need.

Mia launched her legal career in Labor and Employment law with an impactful internship at the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of General Counsel in Washington, DC. Her work focused on critical issues such as supply chain integrity, significant legislation like the America COMPETES Act and the United States Innovation and Competition Act, as well as the vital importance of SBIR reauthorization. Mia played a key role in assisting the Director of Legislative Policy by thoroughly researching and providing valuable feedback on proposed federal legislation, ensuring that any potential effects on the Defense Industrial Base and the U.S. Armed Forces were clearly highlighted and addressed.

Mia continued to gain experience when she accepted a position with the Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps at Joint Base Andrews, in Maryland, as an extern. Mia focused her time on Civil Law and Policy for the Air Force where she drafted legal opinions on Air Force policy, regularly provided legal reviews, and assisted department officials in a wide array of policy matters including the rights of employees who sought religious accommodations.

Today, Mia harnesses her exceptional talents to champion the rights of federal employees and veterans nationwide. She has expertly represented clients in a variety of appearances and administrative hearings before the Equal Opportunity Commission, the Merit System Protection Board, and Disciplinary Appeals Boards. As a key member of our Federal Torts Claims team, Mia tirelessly advocates for veterans, service members, and their families, empowering them to stand up against injustice, negligence, and wrongdoing.

She has successfully negotiated favorable outcomes for employees facing removal, helping save careers through strategic settlements and creative solutions. Whether resolving disputes before they escalate or litigating cases through hearing, Mia focuses on achieving the best possible result for her clients, including preserving employment, securing clean personnel records, and minimizing the long-term impact of disciplinary actions. Her reputation as both an effective negotiator and a formidable litigator allows her to guide clients through difficult situations with confidence and success.
