Kevin is a highly decorated and experienced military justice investigator with over 15 years of experience as a police officer and federal agent.
Before joining Capovilla and Williams as a contracted investigator, Kevin served as a Criminal Investigation Division (CID) Agent at Fort Hood, Texas, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and as a U.S. Army Trial Defense Investigator at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. At Capovilla and Williams, Kevin primarily supports our Military Justice Team, working diligently on behalf of our clients to uncover valuable evidence for court-martials, separation boards, and various administrative matters.
Kevin has expertise in independently planning, developing, and conducting major felony criminal defense investigations. He supports military defense counsel as a subject matter expert in criminal investigations, conducts extensive reviews and analyses of law enforcement reports and discovery, and prepares investigative plans while consulting with defense counsel on potential leads. He locates witnesses, conducts background investigations, and testifies in military courts-martial regarding investigative activities. Additionally, Kevin conducts social media research and utilizes databases to examine social history and witness character.
