Elizabethtown/Fort Knox Military Defense Lawyers
While Fort Knox is home to many active-duty soldiers and their families, a fair number also live in Elizabethtown, a small town fifteen miles south of the base. Wherever a servicemember lives in the area, the team at Capovilla & Williams is ready to step up if expertise in military criminal law is required. We have worked as military prosecutors and military defense attorneys, giving us a unique understanding of the legal system you may now find yourself caught up in. And we understand how stressful it is to be facing legal difficulties while serving your country.

Named for the first U.S. Secretary of War, Henry Knox, this U.S. Army installation was established in 1918. Its numerous units cover a broad range of functions. Some of the units include:
U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC): While recruiting operations are conducted throughout the U.S., its territories, and at military facilities abroad, the headquarters are at Fort Knox. In areas ranging from resource management to personnel, USAREC has more than 400 officers, enlisted members, and civilian employees at work.
First U.S. Army Division East and 84th Training Command: Programs at this unit prepare soldiers for combat, develop leadership skills, and provide training in mission command. Its mission combines a commitment both to develop combat-ready soldiers and make the quality of life of soldiers, civilians, and their families a priority.
U.S. Army Reserve Aviation Command (ARAC) and 100th Division: All Army Reserve aviation is under the command and control of this unit. In support of Army or joint operations, ARAC provides airfield management, combat aviation brigade reinforcement, air traffic services, and more. ARAC also supports emergency response by FEMA.
1st Theater Sustainment Command (1st TSC): This unit ensures that military divisions can accomplish their mission by providing the supplies and transportation capabilities they need. From serving tens of thousands of meals to receiving a few million gallons of fuel in a single day, 1st TSC supports the U.S. military worldwide.
